Peacock Swallowtail Double Sided Stainless Steel Locket -- Papilio blumei
Native to Indonesia, it is found only on the island of Sulawesi. This wonderful butterfly uses structural color within its wing scales to create a brilliant blue coloration, with the tails and the main wing reflecting back different wavelengths of blue.
The wing scales reflect back the blue wavelengths of light, but do not contain their own pigment.

- Two gorgeous real Peacock Swallowtail wing sections, dorsal side on front and ventral side on back.
- Choose 25 or 30 mm outside diameter surgical stainless steel locket with clear glass faces.

- Locket is sealed with jewelers adhesive to preserve the wings inside. Attempted opening of locket not recommended.
- Locket contains magnets.
